Day Six Hundred and Eighty-Six (T-46): I Will Spend Time With You! Just You Watch!

So I posted this article earlier in the week. Wednesday I think. And some of you have read it, I’m sure.

Along with seeing “Up In The Air,” which you should check out if you have the chance, it really got me thinking about my relationships and my connections in life.

Basically, I was reminded by both of these things that we need to cherish the strong bonds we have and to accept new ones when they are presented to us. It sounds simple enough, but I do think people forget it sometimes. It’s not the Evil Internet’s fault, or the fault of relatively simple global travel, just something I’ve noticed when the most common activity I seem to share with people is drinking. When I was professionalizing my pictures on New Year’s Day, I was a little sad that the only bursts of excitement in my photo albums are shitty Konglish around town and my awesome little jaunts to foreign countries.

Not that much I can do about this with regards to S. Korea at this point, but, to that end, I’m certain that I’m going to make it a personal mission of mine to truly spend more time with people, and without a social lubricant. Whether it’s movies or meals or reading or writing, my life is going to include as much face to face time as a rogue like me can stand.

People in NYC, me and you are going to do stuff together!
